Certification
Currently, to be certified by the Soil Association you must grow in soil. Rather than in water or any other medium. So, although we don't use ANY Pesticides or Herbicides, we cannot currently gain organic certification due to regulatory constraints.
However, we like to say that our produce is more than organic. As our produce doesn't contain any nasty’s' but also has some serious sustainability credentials. With 90% less water being used, and we recycle 1kg of feed input into >5kg of fresh, all without any nasty’s'.
Intergrated Pest Management
Further to not using any chemical in our food we utilise a natural defence against any unwanted pests with our Integrated Pest Management Strategy. This removes the need to use any organic or inorganic procedure and reduces our need for intervention.
